Happy Birthday America!
Summer is upon us. I hope everyone one is out enjoying themselves and being safe. Its time again to start the kick off for membership. 4th of July is a wonderful way to kick off the 2010 membership drive. Every member should be involved and made to feel a part of the Membership Program. A strong, active Auxiliary and fun activities help promote membership.
Get out there and get involved with this wonderful celebration. The Fourth of July is our day to celebrate the freedoms that make America the special place it is. Few countries have the protections afforded us through the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Amendments to our Constitution. Take a look at this special holiday and what it means to be an American. Remember to thank a Veteran or a member of our armed forces for that freedom. Remember our troops on active duty both here and over seas.
Congratulations to all who attended Boys and Girls State this year and a special thanks to all of this years counselors.
Special Note
Nobody wants to think of reports all year but it is important to keep track of your volunteer hours all year long. If we dont keep track of yours hours we forget when the time comes to fill out reports. 100% Reporting is the key!!
America #1- Thanks to Our Veterans!
